Kishore Lakshman, M.D., M.P.H., is a board-certified specialist in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism and the founder of Revive MD, Prima CARE’s specialized practice for hormonal health, sexual wellness and healthy aging. He earned his medical degree from Devaraj Urs Medical College in India and a Master of Public Health from the University of South Carolina before completing his internal-medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and his fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Boston University Medical Center. Since joining Prima CARE in 2010, Dr. Lakshman has treated a broad range of endocrine conditions, including diabetes, thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer, adrenal and pituitary disorders, hormone deficiencies and sexual-health concerns. His clinical and research interests include testosterone therapy, reproductive hormones, metabolic health and individualized hormone replacement. Dr. Lakshman has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed studies and clinical trials involving testosterone, androgen therapy, diabetes risk, body composition and physical function. His approach emphasizes patient education, compassionate listening and shared decision-making grounded in current medical evidence.
